Great location near the Munich HBF (main train station), quick trip on the S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines to most tourist spots, within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. The rooms were very spacious by European standards. Our family of 3 stayed in the junior suite, which provided separate rooms for the adults and our 12-year-old. She slept on the sofa bed in the living room, and there was even a half-bath that she could use without coming into our bedroom. The sofa bed is futon-style and very firm. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful; no problem leaving our luggage after we checked out so we could do more sightseeing before our afternoon train. The variety and quality of the breakfast buffet is above average. The price is steep if you like to start your day with a light meal, so we opted to stuff ourselves before heading out for the day. Our book-loving kid loved the hotel's literary-themed decor, and insisted on visiting each floor of the hotel to discover the genres represented (we were on the sci-fi floor). There is a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood and the area around the train station is very busy, but the rooms were quiet.

We loved everything. The location, the rooms were cute, very clean, bed comfortable, had a mini bar and everything you need, from a toothbrush and toothpaste to shampoo and conditioner, body lotion etc. So handy. The showers are lovely, water pressure great. Breakfast was really good and staff was amazing. Laura at the reception was the most pleasant receptionist I ever met (and I used to work in hotels). She went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable, always lovely and smiled. A lady in the breakfast area (I did not catch her name) was also so nice, made us feel very welcomed. I have to say it really made the difference, we loved everything about this place.

Excellent hotel with great amenities. Super friendly front of house staff who were very welcoming and friendly. We called house keeping for an extra pillow and ironing board and they arrived to our room almost immediately! Thoughtful amenities in the room and spacious enough for three people (one double and a sofa bed). The location was fine for us, we decided to walk everywhere but you are close by to public transport. The hotel is situated just past a vibrant part of town but we weren’t made to feel unsafe on our late walks home.

This was a comfortable hotel for our overnight stay in Munich. We just needed somewhere near the train station that was clean and relaxing, and this hotel was exactly that. It was about a 5 minute walk to the train station and we found a good restaurant a short walk away too. Checking in and out was quick and easy, the room was spacious, and the shower was excellent. The hotel had a bar and restaurant downstairs which we didn't get to try but looked lovely. Would definitely stay again.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked the shower (very spacious). The room itself was a little small, but not too small in that there was enough room to move around. There was plenty of closet space, although I didn't have too many clothes as my stay was only for 2 nights. I did like that the hotel was only a couple of blocks from the Munich train station.
